Patsy
Patsy is our practice owner. She has been in the optical industry for over 20 years and has been in practice manager and senior dispenser roles for many of those years. She has a special interest in the fashion aspect of optics and is thrilled when her clients step outside their comfort zone and put their trust in her fashion knowledge. Being an eyewear stylist means she can consult with all of our clients one-on-one and discuss the latest lens designs and the best optical solutions for all. She is often seen frequenting optical fairs & conferences looking out for the upcoming fashion trends and optical advances. Outside of work she loves travelling, reading and keeping fit.
Andrea
Andrea has spent the last five years applying her customer service skills, refined over a 20 year banking career across four states in many diverse roles, to the wonderful world of optics. Andrea’s customer focus and “can do” attitude paves the way to her passion for helping people. She is naturally inquisitive and genuinely interested in each customer’s story and finds great joy when she can satisfy their optical needs and make it a great experience to boot. Andrea loves cooking and travelling and has lived in this local vicinity, having grown up in Salisbury and Moorooka and more recently in Ekibin.
Jana
Jana is currently a second-year Vision Science student at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and is an Optical Assistant at Image Eyewear. Originally from Adelaide, Jana has always been drawn to the wonders of vision and the importance of eye care. She is a firm believer in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. In her free time, you will often find Jana enjoying time with friends, exploring new activities, or staying active. Taekwondo has been a passion of Jana’s since childhood and she currently holds a black belt. Jana strives to provide each patient with attentive and personalised care. Whether it’s assisting our optometrists with pre-testing procedures or helping our patients find the perfect frames, she approaches each task with dedication and enthusiasm.
Thomas
Thomas is currently a 2nd year Vision Science student at QUT. He chose optometry as he has a deep fascination of the physiology and surrounding science of the ocular system. He has recently started work as an Optical Assistant at Image Eyewear. Working in the optical field has boosted his confidence and knowledge of the industry. Outside of being an Optometry student he enjoys the being outdoors playing rugby, surfing and more recently kayaking and camping. He has been kayaking along the Ardeche River and climbing the via Ferrata in the French ALPS. Tom has grown up in Fiji, Australia and England having spent his high school years at a Mount St. Mary’s College in Sheffield. It was here he represented Yorkshire rugby and Mount St. Mary’s First XV. It has been a major contributor to his personality having grown up in vastly different cultures.
Linda
Linda graduated from a Master of Optometry in 2013 and has worked across practices in Adelaide and Brisbane. In her spare time, Linda enjoys pottery, playing touch football and badminton.
